The Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically changed how we work and live our lives, with communication channels and business transactions having largely transitioned to a digital environment. These are challenging times, but they also present enormous opportunities. More and more companies are capitalizing on the situation, investing their all in digital marketing and sales. SixFigures was launched for the purpose of making the high-tech sales industry accessible to anyone wishing to pursue a career in one of the most challenging, fulfilling and profitable fields in the market.

 

Israeli high-tech has always been fertile ground for jobs in sales, with steadily growing demand for great salespeople. Presently most accreditation programs target those with a background in the field. The need for a training program for non-high-tech people – especially with the job mobility brought about by Covid-19 – has led us to establish SixFigures.

What are the admission requirements? A high level of English & good communication skills

Basic familiarity with the internet and computers is a big plus for successful integration in the industry

More than anything, if you’re ambitious, have a business sense and love people, high-tech sales is the perfect profession for you!

What kinds of positions will I be able to obtain after the course? A variety of sales positions in hundreds of high-tech companies, including:

Account Executive (AE)

Multi-channel selling, including face to face. Following the sale, the customer is handed over to Account Management.

Account Manager (AM)

Customer account management, including elements of customer service and sales such as enlarging accounts, adding accounts, etc.

Inside Sales Representative (ISR)

Similar to the Account Executive, this role is exclusively in sales. However, unlike the AE, sales are conducted via digital communication channels (phone, email, meetings online).

Business Development Representative (BDR)

Management of initial sales and outbound lead generation for the Account Executive. Position entails finding potential customers, making initial contact via phone and email, identifying sales potential and generating customer interest in maintaining contact.

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Management of initial sales and inbound lead generation for the Account Executive. Position entails finding potential customers, making initial contact via phone and email, identifying sales potential and generating customer interest in maintaining contact.

How much does the course cost? 12,500 NIS – a worthwhile investment considering the average salary of high-tech sales reps!

Where does the course take place? Due to the circumstances imposed on us by Covid-19, and in order to allow easy access for everyone, the course will be taught using a variety of digital media (for example, Zoom).

What’s the average salary in high-tech sales? Salaries for high-tech sales reps are among the highest in the job market, ranging between 15,000-25,000 NIS as a base salary. Don’t forget commission, which differs from company to company and can actually double the base salary.

Will I be able to get a job overseas? Relocation jobs generally require a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience. However, depending on the company’s organizational requirements, and provided you have proven ability and commitment, a job relocation offer might be in the cards during your first three years in the industry.

Will you help me find a job? We’re committed to giving you the best training, including the skills and knowledge you’ll need to enter the high-tech sales job market. We’ll do everything we can to help you land a job, but ultimately, it’s up to you to prove yourself.
